Our reasons for becoming financial professionals are deeply personal. We repeatedly saw many friends and family struggling to find the help they needed to map out their financial future. We are confident that with our understanding of personal finance, coupled with our training as financial professionals, we can help people better prepare for the future. After years in the business, we have developed a reputation for educating individuals in an easy-to-understand manner so they can grasp personal finance and use those concepts to pursue their financial objectives. We feel a commitment to our community.
A little bit about me outside of being the Director of Girls Going Places. My name is Lynne Kimmich.
As a trusted Financial Representative, my purpose and drive is clear: to provide women with the financial guidance and strategies to live a life of abundance. My overarching mission is to not only empower young girls and women with financial independence but to ensure they have a true foundation of financial literacy. While I thrive in a variety of financial disciplines, I focus my knowledge on helping women plan for their own financial longevity and enjoy their retirement with confidence.
A 18-year veteran of the financial services industry, I specialize in assisting my clients’ wealth accumulation, minimizing levels of risk, defending against financial hazards, and enhancing their net retirement income. As an entrepreneur at heart, I have dedicated my career to helping people develop and discover their financial acumen and independence. I truly enjoy working with clients to reveal hidden threats and capitalize on new opportunities that protect and grow wealth.
Today, I am the director of Girls Going Places Fort Myers*, which focuses on enterprising and community-minded women between 12-18 years of age. I discovered my passion for helping clients become more informed and empowered investors. Working from that foundation, I have expanded my outreach and continue to educate women of all ages.
In addition to Girls Going Places, I am closely involved with, Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida and the Small Business Development Center at Florida Gulf Coast University. I have received a number of awards for my volunteer work, financial guidance, and dedication to causes and communities across the county.
I live in Fort Myers with my amazing husband, Michael, with a combined total of eight children and eleven grandchildren. Outside of the office, I enjoy gourmet cooking and spending time with my fast-growing family.

I am inspired to help people design the financial aspects of their lives, allowing them to pursue their lifetime goals. I educate clients through the accumulation phase as they work and build up assets, then I walk them through the distribution phase once they retire.Prior to entering the financial services industry, I had spent 16 years in the lighting industry managing multi-million-dollar projects that encompassed specification, design, and manufacturing to help people with their lighting needs. I am well accustomed to the complexities of patiently executing details with care and compassion.I like to take a long view in many ways—preferring to gather information through listening and observation before responding, taking my cue from Stephen Covey by seeking to understand before asking to be understood. I also enjoy spending time outdoors by going camping and canoeing. I have also accumulated flying time to work towards my private pilot’s license as I enjoy gaining perspective by seeing the world from up above. After spending most of my life in Kansas City, and my early years in St. Louis, Fort Myers is now my home, where I live with my wife, Lynne. Passionate about supporting children’s charities, I dedicate time and effort to supporting Blessings in a Backpack.
